Deposit Protection
In line with current legislation, MRC Letting Agents will register all deposits on managed properties with a deposit protection scheme within 30 days of the tenancy starting

Our new, state-of-the-art website allows you, as a tenant, to report a repair or make a payment any time of the day or night.
Once you’ve viewed a property, using our 7 days a week viewing service, we will help you with all the necessary paperwork, ensuring a smooth process leading to you moving in.
Our fully-trained move-in team will prepare an inventory to ensure that the property is ready for you to move in and we'll even have it professionally-cleaned prior to your tenancy commencing.


Fees and Terms for Tenants
Once you’ve decided on your new home, all persons aged 18 + over will need to complete an application form and will need to be named on the tenancy agreement.
An administration fee of £150 with £25 per each additional applicant thereafter will be payable upon the landlord instructing us to progress with your application.
Deposits are taken and are equal to one month’s rent. If you cannot supply a deposit a guarantor may be considered and a £25 reference fee is payable.
Tenancy Renewal
All of out tenancies are contractual periodic with a minimum of 6 months, which means at the end of the 6 month period your tenancy will continue month to month and if you wish to stay in the property no further action is neccesary. If after the 6 month period you wish to end your tenancy, you will be required to give a minimum of 1 months notice in writing which should end on the last date of your tenancy period.
Extra charges
Cost of returned cheques are chargeable at £20
Rent default letters are chargeable at £25
Scale of Charges
As from 16th March 2015, our charges will be as follows:
Tenant administration - £85
Credit/referencing - £25
Tenancy agreement drafting - £40
2nd/Additional applicant - £25
Guarantor referencing - £25
Check in inventory - £0
Check out inventory - £0
Tenancy renewal - £50
Cost of returned cheques - £20
Rent default letter - £25
Tenant Charges
All figures quoted are inclusive of VAT at the current rate
Please Note:
In the event that any applicant withdraws their application for a property, or the application is refused due to inaccurate or misleading information provided, the applicant will be charged for the work carried out to point of withdrawal in accordance with our Scale of Charges.
